This listing is of physicians who have expressed an interest in evidence based psychopharmacology by becoming a member of ASCP, or physicians who have demonstrated knowledge of psychopharmacology by passing the ASCP examination. Introduction
The database below is a small proportion of psychopharmacologists who belong to
ASCP and/or have passed the ASCP Advanced Clinical Psychopharmacology Exam, and
have chosen to list their names in the online database. Of course, there are
many other psychopharmacologists in practice throughout the U.S. If you do not
find a psychopharmacologist in this database who practices in your area, we
would suggest one of the following:

Contact the state or local psychiatric society in your area. You can find a
listing at
http://onlineapa.psych.org/listing/
- Consult your local phone directory under "physicians" and then "psychiatric
physicians" or "psychiatrists". (Non-psychiatric physicians specializing in
psychopharmacology may be listed separately.)
- Contact your local or regional school of medicine, department of psychiatry.
Google is a good tool for this purpose, e.g., "XXXX School of Medicine,
Department of Psychiatry"
Searching the Database
Select your search criteria by checking the appropriate boxes below, then
entering your search term in the text field. Click on the 'Find' button. You
must use the postal designation to search by a state, rather than the full name
of the state (e.g., NY not New York).
Sorting the Database
Click on a column heading to sort the list by that field. To see more detail on
a particular physician, click on the last name. To see psychopharmacologists in
a particular city or state, click on an instance of the city or state.
Psychopharmacologists in that city or state will be displayed in detail view.
