A post-doctoral clinical research fellowship is open with an active research group (The Laboratory of Clinical Psychopharmacology) at The Scripps Research Institute, La Jolla, CA, conducting human laboratory studies and clinical trials in alcoholism and the addictions. Candidate will be trained and responsible for conducting human laboratory studies to screen potential pharmacotherapies for alcohol use disorder. Candidate will also learn novel pharmacological approaches and manual-guided behavioral treatment for alcohol use disorder. He or she will also be involved in recruiting and screening subjects for clinical research studies and conducting standardized assessments including neuropsychological tests and diagnostic interviews. Candidate must possess a doctoral degree. He or she must also possess ability to learn and master specialized laboratory techniques involved in cue reactivity measures.
